Linksy is operated by Sean Eadon, based in Wales, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.

You can get in touch any time at sean@linksy.uk.

• Your name and email address, submitted through the waitlist form
• Whether you are a creator, business or venue
• The category you pick, such as your type of business, venue or content
• What you tell us you are looking for, in your own words
• Your social media link or website, if you choose to give one
• Whether you opted in to marketing emails
• The date and time you signed up

We do not currently use website analytics, so we do not build a profile of how you browse the site.

• To manage the Linksy waitlist and let you know when the platform launches
• To understand who is signing up so we can open access in the right order
• To send you launch updates, if you ticked the box asking for them

We rely on legitimate interest to hold your waitlist entry and contact you about the place you asked for. We rely on your consent for marketing emails. The marketing tick box is never pre-ticked, and you can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link or emailing us.

Waitlist data is kept until you ask us to delete it, or 24 months from collection, whichever comes first. After that it is deleted from our systems.

We never sell your data and we do not share it for third party marketing. We use a small number of service providers to run the site on our behalf:

• Our hosting and database provider, which stores the website and the waitlist entries
• Our email delivery provider, which sends launch updates and sends an internal notification to the Linksy inbox each time somebody signs up

These providers act on our instructions under a data processing agreement. Some of them process data outside the UK, in which case the transfer is covered by the UK approved safeguards, such as the International Data Transfer Addendum to the standard contractual clauses.

Waitlist entries are stored in an access controlled database. Only Sean can read them, and the form submits over an encrypted connection. If a breach ever put your rights at risk, we would report it to the ICO within 72 hours and tell you where required.

• Right to be told what data we hold and to get a copy of it
• Right to correct inaccurate data
• Right to request deletion of your data
• Right to restrict or object to how we use your data
• Right to data portability, meaning a copy in a reusable format
• Right to withdraw consent at any time
• Right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk

Linksy is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data about children. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will delete the record.
